Drifting!

It Sunday, 9:23 (23s prime I am told) and I am sitting with Jamie on his bed He is Listening to MacBreak Weekly ( a Mac podcast he likes) and I am taking the chance to write about the weekend.

The weekend, apparently, starts on Fridays, so I am going to start with what I was up to on Friday. On Friday, I spent most of the day snuggling with Jamie and he was doing some work. We went over to the Albemarle centre which is the hotspot we go to and they gave us a birthday Cake. This was very nice of them both me and Jamie have had about half the cake between us and it has been Extremely yummy

We also went to see Carrim at www.streettoyz.com to talk about the website. I am sure Jamie will blog about that somtime soon with the details.

Friday night, Jamie and Me watched our way though the whole 6th series of simpsoms.

So That™ was Friday Summed up!

Saturday started earlier than expected. Jamie was meant to be going to a Drift UK event from 10am, but instead he woke me up to say we were leaving at 8:40am instead. So at 8:40am we were all in a little red car heading to smeatharpe. At this point I had a nap I had been awake most of the night due to a sore tail and was feeling very sleepy.

It was about 2 hours later when I was woken up. Jamie was telling me that we were about to go for a ride, and that I should not feel scared. Seconds later we were going side ways round the drift track. At First this was terrifying and I was VERY glad that I was in my bag. But after a few laps with Jamie there was not much to fear and I started to enjoy the sensation.

Justin (Jamies Leaving Care Worker) is really involved in the world of drift and he attended the event. I spent a bit of time with Jamie hiding in his car from the rain and wind. Thanks for the warmth and dry Justin.

Saturday night I spent with Jamie (who was feeling a bit flappy) and we watched some TV and played with macbook.

This morning (Sunday) we were both woken up by the fire alarm. In my new bedroom the fire alarm is right above my head so it was very strange hearing it go on. It was very loud. When it went of Jamie grabbed me in shock and I found myself being snuggled. After a couple of moments Jamie figured out what was happening and got downstairs with me to be told it was an error. Growl At Them!!!!

Most of today, I have spent with Jamie, a bit of lion time, a bit of PS2 and some work on the macbook. Jamie has been experimenting with some stuff of it today and he very proudly told me that he had networked his Mac OSX, Windowsx XP and Fedore Linux Virtual machine things

For the Last couple of hours I have been chatting and playing with some of the other lions.

Right, The podcasts is getting towards the end, and Jamies going to need the macbook again.
