Right, I have been able to steal the MacBook and take it to my den while Jamie is listening to Mac break weekly on his ipod. I have done such a scullery thing so I can tell you guys about the shiny site updates!
Today, after lots of asking, and even some poking (thanks Alun) Jamie has updated my site (erm, this site!). The updates are relatively simple but should make using my blog much nicer!
The first update (and my favourite) is the new RSS feed! At fist I didn’t really care about this till Jamie showed me what it does! It turns out an RSS feed gets stuff from websites for you and puts it where you want it. So, I can press a button in the bar thingy where the address of the site is and it will teleport the information Into shrook (or anywhere else) for me :)
The second update Jamie tells me isn’t finished yet.. however, its rather useful already. I now have my own navigation bar sat down there at the bottom. This bar has a link to the homepage and a link to third shiny new update!
The final update and the one everyone was asking for …. Is a past posts area! If you look on the navigation bar down there then you will see a link called “past posts� which is full of the stuff I have written ordered by when I wrote it! Jamie tells me that its also not finished yet… I also know I need to thank alun for poking Jamie into building it to start with!
So those are the 3 shiny site updates for now… hopefully they will make you lovely people happier!
